About Give Like Jesus

Hello Friends,

I started Give Like Jesus as an avenue to fulfill a calling that I’ve always felt like God has placed on my life. A calling to be helpful and generous by showing kindness, love, and compassion to others. I have been blessed beyond measure throughout my life. I have never had to worry about where my next meal was coming from or if I was going to have a safe or warm place to sleep at night. I grew up with great parents and was fortunate enough to experience a great childhood with two sisters and nearly 30 first cousins! While we may have had our disagreements, there was never a shortage of love and laughter. Fast forward a few years and I am now in my 40’s with my own family. I am thankful for the Godly husband I have been given and for our beautiful daughter. God has always provided us with what we need, sometimes through our own actions and other times through the helping hands of others.

I have the means to help others that have less than I do - it is my job to pray for direction and then follow through. I hope you all will feel the same. God can and will use all of us as a vessel if we let Him. If all you can do is give someone the gift of kind words - do it! Don’t downplay the impact that genuine words can have on a person. If you use the letter templates on the Send a Letter page, the recipient will also know about Give Like Jesus and might be encouraged to do the same for someone else.

I have started this project in the state of Tennessee, but I hope to grow and expand it to all states and maybe even other countries. You can help by following the linked social media pages below and sharing them with others!

Give Like Jesus is not a non-profit organization so there is no request for donations - simply a request to go out into the world and show the love of Jesus through acts of kindness, love, and compassion.
