Giving Events

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” - Proverbs 22:6

Teaching children how to show love and compassion will serve them long into adulthood. We would love to help you plan a Giving Event! It can be large or small and can be done independently or in conjunction with a Giving Group gathering that kids may attend with their parents.

Ideas for a Giving Event

  • Musical / Play

  • Car Wash

  • Anything you want!

Things to Keep in Mind

  • Have it at a church, a school, a community center or your own front yard.

  • Depending on the event, you can collect admission or sell things for donations.

  • It can be a large group of kids or just one - it doesn’t matter.

  • You can choose to help an organization listed on our website, a church mission or activity, a single person, a family or anything else. It’s completely up to you!

  • We want to work with you - if you need something done a little differently don’t hesitate to ask. If we’re able, we will be happy to accommodate!

  • Give Like Jesus does not charge a fee for anything.

How it Works

What we provide (For Free!)

  • A webpage with all the details that you can share with others online, via e-mail or text message. It will contain the date and time of your event, details about who you are trying to help and how people can help.

  • A flyer with all the details that you can print and pass out.

  • Labels with a link and qr code to the webpage for your event. If you are selling things individually you can put a sticker on each item.

  • A qr code to upload pictures and videos. Anyone at the event can take pictures and upload them for everyone to see. We also like to share some on social media so others can be encouraged to hold their own giving event!
